1. When does my glasses or contact lens prescription expire?

Eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions are valid for 1 year

2. Do you take my insurance?

We accept most vision and medical plans. Please contact your insurance provider to verify your benefits and check for in-network providers. As a courtesy to our patients, we attempt to verify insurance benefits before your appointment.

3. What if my glasses break?

Please contact us to check warranty coverage and discuss repair or replacement options.

4. Do I need to schedule a visit to pick up my eyeglasses or get them adjusted?

Appointments are not required for eyeglass pick ups or adjustments.

5. When should my child have their first eye exam?

The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends that infants have their first eye exam at 6 months of age.

6. Do you provide interpreting services?

Yes, we provide interpreting services for a broad range of languages including ASL and Spanish

7. I am visually impaired, can I drive?

Depending on your level of vision loss, we provide low vision examinations to determine your eligibility based on state requirements. If you meet state requirements, we would prescribe a device called a bioptic telescope and provide device training.

8. Are you taking new patients?

Yes, we are accepting new patients

9. How old do you have to be to do vision therapy?

Vision therapy services are provided to those 7 years of age and older

10. Can you make lenses for eyeglass frames that I already have?

Bring our own frame! We can order lenses for most frame types.

11. What do I need to bring to my eye appointment?

Please bring your insurance cards, photo ID, list of medications, and previous eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions.
